PPG stands for Project Prevention Graduation. The goal of PPG is to keep Graduating Seniors safe and off the roads on Graduation Night.  The DMHS PTO plans & coordinates the fee-based trip for graduating Seniors only.  The Graduates leave directly from  school after the Graduation Ceremony via bus transportation.

 SCHEDULE FOR 2020 Trip to Disney:

 

What:  DMHS graduating seniors, Class of 2020, trip to Disneyland.  PPG’s goal is to keep seniors SAFE on Graduation night. We accept additional donations to be used for scholarships so all may attend.

 

When: Thursday, May 21, 2019, graduates report to PPG “check in” after graduation ceremony and return Saturday, May 23, 2020.

 

Cost:  $275 – includes a roundtrip first-class coach bus fare, pizza and drinks after graduation, breakfast prior to entering the parks, and a hopper pass for Disneyland and California Adventure.

Note: Full or partial scholarships based on financial need are available on a case-by-case basis. Please fill out a scholarship request form linked below and return it to the office by April 15, 2020 to be considered. NO REFUNDS will be given.  Unused trip fees will be applied to need based scholarships.

NOTE:  PTO WOULD PREFER ALL STUDENTS REGISTER AND PAY FOR

THE PPG TRIP THROUGH OUR WEBSITE.

If you prefer to pay by check,  you will need to download the paper form by CLICKING HERE

  1. Complete the Student, Parent & Emergency Contact Form
  2. Complete the Permission Form – be sure to sign and date
  3. Complete the Medical Health and History Form – be sure to sign and date
  4. Pay the registration fee by check
  5. Turn a copy of the Student/Parent, Permission and Medical Forms with a check to DMHS Front Desk

Registration Deadline: May 1, 2020

Note:  Any application received after May, 1, 2020 will be placed on a wait list. NO REFUNDS will be given.  Unused trip fees will be applied to need based scholarships. 

 

Disneyland Trip Agenda:

Thursday, May 21, 2020

  • After the Graduation Ceremony students report to PPG Check in station for chaperon and bus assignment (once at Disneyland, students can go off in their own groups and check in periodically with their chaperon throughout the day)
  • 9:00PM pizza arrives
  • 10:45PM Buses Arrive at DMHS and students begin to load the bus
  • 11:30 Buses leave DMHS

 

Friday, May 22, 2020

  • 7:30AM Arrive to Disneyland
  • 8:00AM Breakfast is distributed/eaten
  • 8:30AM Entry into Disneyland and students can go off in their own groups and will check in periodically with their chaperon)
  • 10:00PM Buses arrive to the Park
  • 10:15PM Buses leave Disneyland

 

Saturday, May 23, 2020

  • Approximately 5:00am Buses arrive back at DMHS

 

Anyone can CONTRIBUTE or VOLUNTEER for PPG.  
Contributions are used to fund scholarships for students unable to afford the event.

This is NOT a school or SUSD district sponsored event.  The PPG trip is run solely by a standing committee of the DMHS PTO.   All students attending must adhere to Disney Rules and Regulations.
