Planning has begun for an amazing Senior Trip for the Class of 2026!

 

In the spirit of Project Graduation events that are offered by many high schools in the U.S. to provide a celebration free from drugs and alcohol, Desert Mountain PTO plans to offer an optional overnight trip for Desert Mountain High School graduates. 

 

The trip is planned to begin after the graduation ceremony on Friday, May 22, 2026 and graduates would return early on the morning of Sunday, May 24, 2026.

This is the weekend of Memorial Day.

 

A $100 deposit will be collected in late September. Total cost of the trip is dependent upon ticket and transportation prices, along with the number of graduates attending. As a reference, last year's trip cost was $375 per graduate which included 1-day Disneyland/California Adventure hopper ticket and bus transportation. Initial quotes from vendors this year are in the $400-425 per graduate range. 

The balance of the trip cost will be due in mid-February.
