Congratulations to the winners of our four annual 2023 PTO Scholarships: Kate Weurding, Morgan Aronin, Marly Aronin and Noel Steinbeck! The DMHS Scholarship Review Committee chose these seniors for their commendable contributions to our school and community and they were all recognized at Senior Breakfast last week. 

Desert Mountain is very fortunate to have so many wonderful students who are involved on campus and off. Each year the DMPTO recognizes 4 seniors that have made commendable contributions and supported our school and community, awarding 4 seniors with $1,000 scholarships.  Criteria include:  2.5+ GPA, description of volunteer experiences and how they have impacted our community and/or Desert Mountain, and a max 500-word essay.  

Application is required to be considered for a scholarship.  Details will be available on the Naviance scholarship portal, in the DMHS College and Career Center, and on the school website.  Deadlines and dates will be provided to students and parents when they are available.  Ordinarily, deadlines are provided sometime after spring break and scholarships are officially awarded at the Senior Breakfast held in May.
