SENIOR BREAKFAST AND SENIOR POSTERS

A big tradition at Desert Mountain has been for each student to create their personal Senior Poster to be displayed at Senior Breakfast. Have fun decorating your poster with all your photos and memories!  

• Posters can be picked up in the bookstore and need to be returned by May 5th.
• Tickets to Senior Breakfast can be purchased in the bookstore for $20 until Thursday, May 5th.
• Senior Breakfast will be 8:30 - 11am on Friday, May 6th
  at the Hilton Doubletree Resort at 5401 N. Scottsdale Road

• GRADUATION DATE: The Desert Mountain Class of 2022 graduation ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 25th at 8 pm at the Desert Mountain football stadium. 
• TICKETS: Each student will receive 4 tickets. Additional tickets may be purchased for $10 per ticket. Please watch for upcoming information on ticket distribution and purchase. 
• ATTIRE: Students, please dress for a ceremony. NOTE: High heels are NOT PERMITTED on the football field by students or guests. 

PTO has 53 senior yard signs we are giving away on a first come, first serve basis. Full disclosure - these were Class of 2020 yard signs where we have laminated over the "2020" in the letter "I" of "SENIOR" to now say "2022".

Students may pick them up in the bookstore starting tomorrow (Wednesday) or parents may ask for one at the front office.

The 2022 IB Recognition Event hosted by the Desert Mountain IB Parent Association will be held Friday, May 6th from 6 - 7:30 pm in the DMHS Auditorium. Reception to follow in the Mall.

All IB and MYP families are invited to attend.

Come participate in our monthly PTO Leadership Meeting on Wednesday, May 11th at 7:30 pm. We welcome all parents and are looking for anyone interested in taking a leadership role next school year! Open positions for 2022-23 include:

• VP Membership
• VP Project Prevention Graduation
• VP Communications (website and social media)
• Secretary

Ms. Winstin's 2nd and 3rd period students are spearheading the collection of school supplies for the children of Ukraine that have been displaced and are now residing in Poland.

From May 2 to May 16, school supplies can be dropped off in room 1135 or placed in donation boxes near the front office.
